Binh Dinh Eye Hospital equipped with Visucam

Binh Dinh Eye Hospital has invested over 1 billion VND to equip with Visucam digital imaging system that allows doctor to carry out an ocular funds fluoresce in angiography test in order to clearly see the blood vessels at the eye ground, according to doctor Nguyen Thanh Triet, Director of Binh Dinh Eye Hospital.

This system is used to take pictures in ocular funds without photo resist that helps for consultation and diagnosis to find out diseases; storing wounds pictures aiming to compare after treatment; supervising retina circulation; early detecting wounds in blood vessels at the back of the eye, especially diseases in retina due to a complication by diabetes.

Since put into operation, VISUCAM has been used to treat effectively over 50 patients who wounded in blood vessels at the eye ground and diabetes patients with eye damage.
