From early 2010, having benefited from the support of the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) funded “Biogas Program for the Animal Husbandry Sector in Vietnam” project, phase 2007-2011, 70 biogas plants were newly built in Tuy Phuoc district. Each costs 6-10 million VND, in which 1.2 million VND is financed by the project.
Under the project, nearly 720 biogas plants have come into use in Tuy Phuoc district with a total financial assistance of 753 million VND since 2007.
