Clean water project boosted

The province’s management board for clean water and sanitation project held the 2nd meeting on the project implementation and measures to deal with any difficulties emerged from the process.

The project has been carried out in six districts of Phu Cat, Phu My, Tuy Phuoc, Tay Son, An Nhon, and Hoai Nhon from 2009-2014, aiming to build the Phu Cat water supply work, upgrade the Hoc Mon water reservoir in Phu My, and construct the solid waste treatment works in six districts.

The project is worth 8.95 million EURO, in which the Belgium Government finances 7.5 million EURO and Vietnam contributes the rest.

So far, the components have been implemented as expected.

The project management board’s action and financial plans for the last six month this year were approved at the meeting. Also, participants agreed the establishment of the management panel for the water supply work in Phu Cat and its personnel.
