Work begins on Hung Vuong hydro-mechanical plant

The construction of Hung Vuong hydro-mechanical plant kicked off in Binh Nghi industrial zone on June 22.

The Hung Vuong Mechanical Electric and Construction JSC will invest VND35 billion in building the plant on an area of 42,000 sq.m.

The project which is comprised of two phases is designed to have a capacity of 3,000 tonnes per year. In the first phase, alongside the production of hydro-mechanical equipment, the ground clearance and infrastructure construction will also be carried out.

The second phase will see the continuity of the project.

The plant is expected to be fully operational by December, 2011.
