Industrial production value, export turnover up

The province’s enterprises have showed signs of recovery in the first six months this year, reaping high growth against the previous year’s corresponding period, according to the report released by the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province.

The first six month of 2010 saw the industrial production value of over VND3 trillion, a rise of 12.7 percent over the same period last year, of which State-owned businesses saw an increase of 11 percent, non State-owned sector 13 percent, and private sector 12.6 percent.

The first six-month export turnover reached USD235 million, a surge of 36 percent compared with the same period last year.
