Cau Ngu festival held at Hung Luong lagoon

The Cau Ngu festival organized by fishermen in Hung Luong lagoon, which is present-day Ly Hung and Ly Huong hamlets, Nhon Ly commune, took place at the tomb of Ong Nam Hai from June 21-25.

The festival is an occasion for fishermen to express their deep gratitude to ancestors as well as pray for peaceful and prosperous country, good weather, bumper crops, and a peaceful life.

Besides, Ba Trao chanty and Tuong performance (Vietnamese classical opera) were also held every night at the event.
