The province’s steering board for flood and storm prevention and search and rescue on June 29 attended an online conference on the implementation of the regulations on earthquake and tsunami warning in Vietnam.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat chaired the conference attracting the participation of provinces and cities nationwide.
The representatives of relevant agencies presented the implementation of the regulations on earthquake and tsunami prevention; warning of earthquakes and tsunamis; an overview of earthquake and tsunami in Vietnam and the region as well as measures to prevent and fight against the disasters.
According to the report delivered by the Binh Dinh’s representatives, the province always carries out the task of flood and storm prevention and search and rescue in parallel with the earthquake and tsunami prevention.
