70 poor patients with cataract in Binh Dinh were offered free surgery under the “Source of light for life” program.
The program which was jointly held by the Thanh Nien newspaper and Binh Dinh Eye Hospital gained the support from the newspaper’s readers.
A financial assistance of VND56 million, of which Truong Thi Lieu living in HCM City offered VND20 million, was used for the program taking place from late March to June 30 in Binh Dinh.
