Nearly 40 minerals extraction licenses granted

The province’s natural resources and minerals management has been strengthened, reaping some positive results.

The provincial People’s Committee has also granted and extended nearly 40 licenses for natural resources and minerals extraction since early this year, according to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

These include sand, stone, land for rolled-fill, titanium, laterite ore extraction licenses and decision to restore a titanium extraction license.
