Over 100 child patients receive free eye surgery

Among 500 child patients, more than 100 selected ones with eye-related diseases received free eye surgery which has started since July 16 in the central province of Binh Dinh.

The Binh Dinh Eye Hospital, the National Eye Hospital, the province’s Department of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, and the Fred Hollows Foundation (FHF) jointly offered the free operation.

The financial assistance was mobilized from different sources, of which FHF contributed VND100 million.

The free eye surgery will last until July 20.
