The provincial management unit of the agriculture competitiveness project on July 30 held a meeting on the establishment of productive partnerships under the subcomponent B1 of the project co-funded by the Government and the international development association (IDA).
The representatives of the project management unit offered the participants some information about the subcomponent and asked about the establishment of the new productive partnership between small-holder farmers and agribusinesses.
Most agreed that a new productive partnership is essential, aiming to build the long-term cooperation for the production and enhance the competitiveness in effectiveness, cost, quality, and other issues.
The province’s project management unit will help form new productive partnerships which will be then submitted to the national project management board and sponsor for consideration.
Each approved productive partnership will be financially and technically supported.
