A grand Buddhist festival organized by Binh Dinh Buddhist Sangha took place at Quy Nhon City’s Long Khanh Pagoda on July 30, marking the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi

The representatives of provincial and municipal bodies attended the festival.

The festival paid tribute to King Ly Thai To, the founder of Hanoi and monks through ages as well as President Ho Chi Minh who led the country to prosperity.

On the occasion, the Binh Dinh Buddhist Sangha pledged to work together with all people to promote the patriotism, love for peace and national independence, defend our ancestor’s achievements and cultural inheritance, and make the country integrate into the world.
