Pham Van Chai wins first prize at local photo contest

The work Gop to tam (Collecting silk) by the photographer Pham Van Chai coming from Binh Dinh's VAPA affiliate won first prize at photo contest 2010 entitled “Binh Dinh- its land and people”

The contest attracted 28 local photographers with 319 photos, aiming to praise the beauty of Binh Dinh’s nature, land and people in all aspects.

88 works including 8 consolation prize-winning photos, 3 third prizes, 2 second prizes and the first prize were selected to be exhibited.

As planned, the exhibition and award granting ceremony are scheduled to take place on September 1 on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of National Day (Sep 2) and the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long- Hanoi.
