Six proposals for the establishment of new productive partnerships between small-holder farmers and agribusinesses were approved, according to the province’s management unit for agriculture competitiveness project.
They include Tan Thuan agriculture co-operative and Binh An Co., Ltd, Nhon Hau commune and Quy Nhon tree and service Co., Ltd, Cat Hanh 1 agriculture co-operative and Van Phuoc agriculture Co., Ltd, Phu Hoa agriculture cooperative and Quy Nhon tree and service Co., Ltd, Cat Hanh 2 agriculture cooperative and Vietnam agicultural and forest products Co., Ltd, and Huong Que Co., Ltd and My Hoa commune’s farmers cooperation group.
The project worth US$75 million is co-sponsored by the Vietnamese Government and the International Development Association.
Each partnership will be financially and technically funded up to a maximum of US$2000 per farmer and not more than 40 percent of the total essential expense for the business planning.
