14:8', 16/8/ 2010 (GMT+7)

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc and Director of the province’s Department of Planning and Investment Le Van Tam yesterday (August 16) held a meeting with the representatives of the volunteer charity caravan coming from HCM City.

After being briefed on the province’s potential and advantages and its list of projects calling for investment, head of the C.T Group Tran Kim Chung highly valued projects as well as incentive policies in Binh Dinh, saying that the group and other enterprises will seek investment opportunities here after the journey.

The volunteer charity journey, entitled the South-North Caravan 2010, departed in HCM City last Friday, with the participation of 54 members from the HCM City Young Enterprise Association, the Viet Nam Young Physicians' Association, CT Group and another 10 units and philanthropists.

The members, who travelled on 13 automobiles and one van, will present gifts and provide health check-ups for poor people and search for opportunities to invest in disadvantaged areas during their nine-day journey, which will end in Ha Noi on August 20.

Stopping in Binh Dinh, they offered free medical test and drugs to some locals in Hoai Nhon district and presented gifts to the Dong Tam Social Sponsoring Center.
