A 2-day training course on international economic integration and foreign affairs jointly held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Binh Dinh Province People's Committee started on August 23 in Quy Nhon.
Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee Le Huu Loc attended the opening of the training course.
More than 100 leaders and civil officials of the provincial bodies and agencies and employees of Binh Dinh–based enterprises joined the course.
The participants were offered the information about 8 issues, including world situations and policies of the Vietnamese Party and State for foreign affairs; the international economic integration of Vietnam in the existing world situations and Vietnam’s implementation of WTO commitments; some knowledge about diplomatic protocol; cultural diplomacy and Binh Dinh-related issues; diplomacy for the sake of economic interests and recommendations to Binh Dinh; policies toward foreign affairs media and the management of Binh Dinh - stationed correspondents and journalists; consulate activities in the province.
