14:32', 6/9/ 2010 (GMT+7)

Quy Nhon’s fishermen have exploited over 19,438 tonnes of aquatic products since early this year, gaining 56.2 percent of the total yearly plan and increasing 2.3 percent in comparison to the same period of 2009, reported Quy Nhon city’s Economics Office.

Among the fisheries, tuna hand line catching was aggressively operating in the first 4 months but temporarily stops now because of low exploitation resource at the end of the season. The fishing with cast net has obtained high output of round scads since mid-May 2010 while the prices are high, giving fairly high economic value.
