The seminar on prevention and treatment of white leg shrimp epidemic diseases organized by Can Tho Veterinary Medicine Company took place in Quy Nhon city on September 9.
The reports presented at the seminar said that some province’s households has invested in hatching white leg shrimp and gained profits. However, the mass expansion of shrimp ponds has resulted in a great pressure on the environment around shrimp hatching areas, causing some diseases.
The experts also presented some scientific factors assisting shrimp breeders in sustainably hatching white leg shrimp, provide techniques in preventing and treating white leg shrimp epidemic diseases and answer questions raised by participants
Also in Binh Dinh, the company will hold 5 similar seminars in some localities where there is white leg shrimp farming.
