Over US$1.2 mln added to canal construction

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has ratified the Decision on allocating the additional capital for the canal construction under the La Tinh irrigation sub-project.

Accordingly, a VND24 billion (roughly US$1.2 million) loan from ADB will be added to build 40 km of canal in two districts of Phu Cat and Phu My.

The Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development asked the provincial People’s Committee to allow it to appoint contractors for the survey and technical drawing, using the province’s corresponding capital.
