A workshop to kick off the project on Asia climate change adaptation forum in Binh Dinh (hereafter called adaptation forum) was jointly held by Binh Dinh Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), and National Institute for Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Studies (NISPASS) in Quy Nhon on September 16.

The overall goal of the project is to support the climate change adaptation and improve the adaptation capacity in the South and Southeast Asia’s countries.

Also, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA)-funded project will build and connect current and newly-established knowledge networks.

13 countries, including Vietnam, were selected to join the project. Binh Dinh is the Vietnam’s first representative province participating in the project whose some programmes will be implemented in Binh Dinh.

The representatives of SEI and NISPASS answered some questions raised by the participants at the workshop.
