14:23', 19/9/ 2010 (GMT+7)

Those who greatly contributed to the third international festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts were honored in Quy Nhon on September 17.

Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh chaired the meeting.

The third martial arts festival, taking place from August 1-4, attracted 70 domestic and foreign martial arts squads and more than 1,350 delegates to join its various activities.

The festival was highly successful in propagating unique features and potential of Vietnamese traditional martial arts, closing different Vietnam’s traditional martial arts schools together.

Many bodies, individuals, and the mass media partly contributed to the success of the event.

At the meeting, provincial Vice Chairwoman Binh expressed many thanks to the contributors. Also, 20 bodies and 8 individuals who greatly contributed to the festival were honored by the provincial People’s Committee.
