MoNRE Deputy Minister pays working visit to Binh Dinh
18:29', 21/9/ 2010 (GMT+7)

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) Nguyen Minh Hien went on an inspection tour about the implementation of the State management of land and the result of the Vietnam Land Administration Project (VLAP) in Binh Dinh on September 20.

The Binh Dinh People’s Committee has promulgated many normative legal documents since the Law on Land was put into effect in 2003, helping functional bodies effectively carry out the State management of land in fields of land use planning, certificate granting for land use, and other issues.

Quy Nhon city and 7 districts has finished the land use planning, of which 6 districts finished the planning until 2015, let alone 100 communes, wards, and towns. Also, 2,102 certificates for land use right were granted to bodies.

As for the VLAP, the contractor and consultancies were asked to boost the progress to ensure the deadline of the project.

On the occasion, the Binh Dinh People’s Committee also asked the Government and the MoNRE to amend the Decree No.69/2009, providing additional regulations on land use zoning, land price, land recovery, compensation and resettlement, and land for public uses.

Deputy Minister Hien acknowledged the province’s effort in these fields but he said the province should strive to promote the VLAP’s progress.
