The medical laboratory of Phu Phong General Hospital was recognized as the first one of the province’s health sector meeting the ISO 15189:2007’s requirements for quality and competence, announced the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Bureau of Accreditation on Sept.20.
The Bureau of Accreditation recognized the competence of the Phu Phong Hospital’s medical laboratory after a severe inspection had been carried out since early June.
The recognition is valid until 2013 and the medical laboratory will periodically be monitored once a year.
