The repair and improvement of parts of the Eastern dike had already completed, ensuring safe pass of major flood tests, said Binh Dinh’s Agency for Dyke Management, Flood and Storm Control.
VND 8.3 billion were spent on upgrading 15 key items of the eastern dike, using the Central budget for dike repair and flood damage recovery.
Thanks to the early implementation, the repair met the deadline.
The eastern dike is 47km long, in which 30km has been upgraded, repaired and improved over years.
