Hoang To Quyen, an 11th grader from Mathematics gifted class of Quy Nhon-based Le Quy Don gifted high school, has just been awarded the ASEAN scholarship.
She passed writing tests in English on two subjects of Mathematics and English, an IQ test, and 4 interviews.
The ASEAN scholarship is offered by the Government of Singapore to students from ASEAN countries. Vietnamese students will be offered free school fees and a 4,300-Singapore-dollar worth allowance.
Quyen will start her study abroad in early November.
