A press conference took place in HCM City on September 28, announcing the first Vietnam forest product festival, which will be held in Quy Nhon early next year.
The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development; Industry and Trade; Binh Dinh People’s Committee; Vietnam Timber & Forest Product Association; Dat Vo Advertising & Communications Company jointly held the press conference.
For the first time ever in Vietnam, the forest product festival is scheduled to take place from March 26-29, 2011, aiming to honor the forestry sector and those who have greatly contributed to the country’s economy as well as the sustainable development of forestry sector.
The event is expected to create investment opportunities for domestic and foreign woodwork companies.
The festival will also include different activities, such as workshop, art performance, and incense offering ceremony at Quang Trung Museum.
