Binh Dinh sees 8,129 fishing vessels operating

8,129 fishing vessels with an average capacity of 77 CV per vessel are operating in Binh Dinh now, according to the province’s agency for aquaculture protection and exploitation.

Among these fishing vessels, there are 2,692 with the capacity of under 20 CV; 1,163 with the capacity of 50-90 CV; 1,088 with the capacity of 90-250 CV; 852 with the capacity of 250-400 CV; 33 with the capacity of over 400 CV.

The functional bodies have promoted the fishing boat management and offered many training courses for fishermen, helping them operate the fishing vessels safely.
