Planning for socio-economic development, State budget implemented

Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee on Jan.6 held a meeting to implement the provincial People’s Council’s Resolution on the planning for socio-economic development and State budget in 2011.

Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Thien and provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Huu Loc attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on key measures to promote industrial production, maintain the growth and the agro-forestry-fisheries development, create favourable conditions for services, boost the State budget revenue and the socialization in fields of culture and society, further the administrative reform, corruption prevention, and ensure the national defense, security and public order.

Many Departments’ leaders also presented the main solutions to implement their sectors’ plans in 2011.

Provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc launched an emulation movement. Accordingly, the province’s GDP is expected to rise by 12 percent compared to 2010, the total budget revenue will reach more than VND3 trillion, 25,000 jobs will be generated, and the rate of poor households will reduce by 2 percent against the previous year.
