2011 int’l letter – writing competition announced

The Department of Information and Communications has announced the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) 2011 international letter-writing competition for young people in Binh Dinh.

The theme retained for the competition is "Imagine you are a tree living in a forest. Write a letter to someone to explain why it is important to protect forests".

Young people up to the age of 15 years may take part in the competition which is scheduled to take place from January 15 to February 25.

The prize-giving ceremony is expected to be held on March 5.
