Tax revenues expected to reach over VND2 trillion in 2011

Provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung on Jan.13 chaired the meeting to evaluate the province’s tax revenues in 2010 and implement the 2011’s tasks.

The provincial taxation sector fulfilled its tasks last year. The 2010’s total tax revenues reached over VND2.2 trillion, an increase of 16.6 percent against 2009.

Most tax revenues came from non-State sector, foreign-invested enterprises, personal income tax, and Central State-owned enterprises.

In 2011, the taxation sector set the target of VND2,396 billion in tax revenues, a rise of VND158 billion compared to 2010.

Speaking at the meeting, provincial Vice Chairman Dung highly valued the results and asked the sector to better its tasks in 2011.
