Helping poor people, flood victims enjoy Tet

The local authorities in Nhon Binh ward on Jan.12 allocated 7 tonnes of rice to poor households and those who were badly affected by floods, helping them enjoy the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday. Each received 20 kg of rice.

The doctors coming from HCM City offered free medical tests and drugs to war invalids, social beneficiaries, martyrs’ families, and elderly people in Nhon Chau commune.

Le Thanh Cong located at Nhon Binh ward also presented 120 gifts to poor households and social beneficiaries in Nhon Binh. Binh Dinh Stone VRG Joint Stock Company presented VND20 million to Nhon Chau’s Fund for Study Promotion.

Binh Dinh Red Cross’s Volunteer Club on Jan. 12 visited and presented 420 Tet gifts to patients who are under treatment at Hoai Nhon psychiatric center.
