Over VND130 bn invested in medical facilities

The health sector invested more than VND130 billion, of which the local budget financed VND28 billion, the national target program contributed VND1 billion and over VND100 billion was from the Government bonds, in the medical facilities in 2010.

Many works have put into operation, such as the cancer treatment and diagnosis system, the center for refractive errors treatment and diagnosis, and other items.

In 2011, the Department of Health will submit some proposals to the authorities for approval, including the upgrade of cosmetic – pharmaceutical products testing center, drainage and wastewater treatment system at Binh Dinh Eye Hospital, the construction of medical clinics in communes of Phuoc Hoa, Nhon Chau, and Cat Trinh, and other new facilities.
