Tens thousands of Tet gifts will be presented to social beneficiaries and poor households in Binh Dinh, using the central and local budgets as well as the sponsorship from businesses, according to Vice Director of Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, Phan Nhu Hai.

Accordingly, 41,000 social beneficiaries will receive the State President’s presents. Also, the local budget spent VND800 million presenting Tet gifts to the others.

Many organizations donated VND5 billion to Binh Dinh Fatherland Front Committee, aiming to present gifts to 20,000 poor households.

On the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, the Government also provided 3,000 tonnes of rice for Binh Dinh to help flood-hit victims.
