A plan to organize various activities, aiming to celebrate the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, was announced recently.

Accordingly, a competition in which the participants will make 240 cylindric glutinous rice cakes (filled with green bean paste and fat pork) will be held by Quy Nhon Municipal Youth Union and its affiliates.

The provincial Youth union’s affiliates were also asked to present 5,000 cylindric glutinous rice cakes to poor people, orphans, homeless elderly people, and the others who won’t have a chance to celebrate the New Year’s Eve at home.

Youth union members will join different programs, such as the “Spring and Youth” game show, volley ball competition, human chess, dancing contest, and other activities.

All activities are scheduled to start on January 28.
