The Quy Nhon Municipal People’s Committee on Jan. 25 held a meeting to implement the planning for the city’s socio-economic development and State budget in 2011.
Many reports presented at the meeting include different issues, such as urban planning and construction, environment protection, poverty reduction, social welfare policies, and traffic safety and public order.
The city’s total GDP is expected to reach 14.5 percent in 2011. The industrial production value is set to rise over 16 percent while the export turnover value targets US$450 million.
Also, at the meeting, the production value of agro-forestry-aquatic products is expected to rise over 5 percent this year.
