Provincial Party Committee announces results of 11th National Party Congress

Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee on Jan. 26 held a meeting to announce the results of the 11th National Party Congress.

At the meeting, provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Thien reported the results of the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CVP) to the participants who are key leaders of provincial bodies and agencies.

According to his report, the CPV endorsed the “Platform for national construction during the transitional period towards socialism” (supplemented and developed in 2011), and the 2011-2020 Socio-economic development strategy , reviewed the performance of the 10th National Party Congress Resolution and discussed major guidelines and polices in all spheres to foster the country’s rapid and sustainable development. The elections of Party leadership positions were a great success of the Congress.

Congress saw a larger number of delegates who were of different backgrounds, younger age and boasted a higher level of ability compared with those at previous events.

The Party Committees at the city and district levels will also propagate the results of the Congress to their staff, Party members, and all people after the meeting.
