Deadline for child diarrhoea prevention project extended

The deadline for the “Strengthening child diarrhoea prevention in Binh Dinh” project will be extended to April 30, Binh Dinh People’s Committee has announced.

The PATH-funded project has been carried out in Binh Dinh since September, 2008 with the total capital of nearly US$198000.

It aims to enhance the medical staff’s capacity for diarrhoea prevention and control as well as the monitoring system.

The project has also improved the knowledge and practices of diarrhoea prevention in the community.
