Blood donation programme launched at Hoai Nhon

The 5th humanitarian blood donation programme was co-organized by Hoai Nhon district Red Cross, Hoai Nhon Communist Youth Union and the district authorities at General Hospital of Bong Son, on October 1.

More than 300 officials, civil servants, members of the Youth Union branches all over the district registered to donate blood. The donors gave a total of 135 units of blood, equivalent to 33.75 litres of blood.

After the 5 blood donation programmes of 2011, 729 donors in Hoai Nhon give 729 units of blood or 182.25 litres of blood, making up 87% of the whole year planned target.
