Youth Union members respond to “Collect stones to build the Spratly Archipelago”

The managing board and Communist Youth Union of Tuy Phuoc 1 Secondary School at Tuy Phuoc district on Oct.10 kicked off a day for responding to the programme “Collect stones to build the Spratly Archipelago”, which was launched by the Central Youth Union Committee and Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

After the school’s launching ceremony, nearly 2,000 youth members, including teachers and students, donated 3.5 million VND to the programme.

The programme has been implemented by Communist Youth Union of Tuy Phuoc district over its 27 branches.

All of the donation raised will be directly handed over to representatives of the programme in a forthcoming live TV coverage on the 50th anniversary of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea.

The live TV coverage will take place on October 22 under co-organization of Binh Dinh Communist Youth Union, Binh Dinh Veteran Union, Quy Nhon Military Port forces, Representative Office of Tuoi Tre Newspaper at Binh Dinh and Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station.
