Speed up construction of houses for poor people

Binh Dinh People’s Committee has just issued a document NO. 3292/UBND-KTN on stepping up the construction of houses for poor people all over the province this November.

The provincial People’s Committee entrusts district level People’s Committees of Tay Son, Tuy Phuoc, An Nhon, Phu Cat, Hoai Nhon with tasks of promptly providing guidance on adjusting and replacing list of the poor people having no houses constructed with list of poor people in more need of the houses (but ensuring no change in total number of the poor households as a proposal approved by the provincial People’s Committee with Decision No. 678/QĐ-UBND dated on September 18, 2009.

The provincial People’s Committee also assigns the People’s Committees of districts and Quy Nhon city tasks of continuously checking and updating list of more poor households in accordance to new poverty line.

The list must be sent to Binh Dinh Department of Construction for compilation and reports to the provincial People’s Committee in this October. It will be then submitted to Ministry of Construction and Prime Minister for consideration of putting into the national programme of supporting the poor with house construction, phase 2012-2015.
