Over VND4.5 bln to upgrade Ha Thanh river dyke

The Van Canh district People’s Committee drew out over VND4.5 bln from 30a Programme's assistance fund to upgrade Ha Thanh river dyke (Canh Thuan commune) that was blew off by last floods.

The upgraded river dyke section which is 700 meters long and 4 meters high with reinforced concrete footing, stone-paved roof is expected to complete at the end of 2011.

After finished, the project will prevent soil erosion from Ha Thanh river to the provincial route ĐT638, ensuring a safe for trade and travel.
