Phu Cat district has 936 households with 6,282 people at communes of Cat Khanh, Cat Hai, Cat Thanh, Cat Chanh, Cat Hung, Cat Nhon, Cat Thang, Cat Tai, Cat Minh, Cat Tien need to be evacuated from dangerous areas to safer shelters before storms and floods come.
Phu Cat People’s Committee direct its lower governments to firstly evacuate old people and children.
No one is allowed to stay in their houses when the storms and floods come. The governments are also directed to mobilize forces for performance of the mandatory evacuation; to provide food, drinking water, medicines as aid for the local people in the flood-prone areas; to ensure environmental hygiene and security at the areas.
