A meeting on the planning of new rural area construction in Binh Dinh was held on November 2. The event was chaired by provincial Vice Chairwoman Tran Thi Thu Ha.

The report said that Binh Dinh now sees 77 of 129 communes finishing the evaluation of rural areas in accordance with the standards.

However, according to the participants, there are still some difficulties in the rural study and new rural area planning.

Provincial ViceChairwoman Ha stressed that, building new rural areas is the State and Party’s policy, aiming to make a breakthrough in the socio-economic development in rural areas.

To boost the progress of building new rural areas, provincial bodies need to closely coordinate with local authorities to promote the study rural areas and implement the rural area planning in Binh Dinh, she added.
