Implement National Target Programme on New Rural Development in Binh Dinh

Binh Dinh People’s Committee Office has just announced direction of Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Tran Thi Thu Ha on implementation of the National Target Programme on New Rural Development in Binh Dinh, phase 2011-2015, with vision to 2020.

Accordingly, People’s Committees at district and city level will guide the implementation; launch communication campaigns on policies of new rural development; do surveys to assess existing real situations of rural areas; choose qualified consultants to draw out master plans. Average cost of the surveys and the master plans is expected at 200 million VND/commune. Chairpersons of the district and city People’s Committees will facilitate the implementation that suits real situations of each commune.

The provincial People’s Committee will consider subsidies for craft villages, providing localities with appropriate cross-bred rice varieties and facilitating their production activities. At 3 mountainous districts of Van Canh, Vinh Thanh and An Lao, the National Target Programme on New Rural Development should be integrated into other relevant programmes.
