Rice prices in Binh Dinh tend to increase sharply in recent times. Prices of unprocessed rice fluctuate within 6,800-8,000 VND/kg; prices of processed rice are from 12,000-15,000 VND/kg.

Prices of average unprocessed rice are 6,900-7,300 VND/kg at Quy Nhon city; 6,800-7,000 VND/kg at districts of An Nhon, Hoai Nhon and Tuy Phuoc; 7,000 VND/kg at Tay Son district; 6,700 VND/kg at Vinh Thanh district. Prices of high-quality unprocessed rice are higher, changing from 8,000 to 8,200 VND/kg.

The prices highly increase because of favourable conditions of rice markets. Rice supply falls as farmers all over the province are going to start Winter-Spring crop and it takes 3-4 months to harvest the crop.
