Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone has just granted licence to a new foreign direct investment (FDI) project, says Chief of the Management Board, Mr. Man Ngoc Ly. The project is to build a U-PVC construction material production factory. Investor is Baoercheng Nam Duong Viet Nam Construction Material Joint Stock Company, the joint-venture of MTV Hong Yeung Viet Nam Ltd. Co. – investor of the infrastructure construction project at Nhon Hoi B Industrial Zone – and Chinese individual partners. Total budget of the project on the factory building is 114.8 billion VND (5.6 million USD).

This is the 8th FDI project to Nhon Hoi EZ, making the total FDI investments to the EZ up to 516 million USD.

The factory will be built over an area of 3 hectares, at section B of Nhon Hoi EZ. It is designed to produce large-calibre U-PVC tubes, which are commonly used as water supply or water sewage pipes, with capacity of 2,000 tonnes/year; U-PVC door frames with capacity of 15,000m2/year; and plastic construction materials. The factory is expected to be put into operation by April 2012.
