CPI increases 0.87 percent in November

Binh Dinh’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 0.87 percent in November. The average CPI in the first 11 months of this year increased 19.54 percent compared to the average level during the same period last year.

From commodity groups, the highest growth in the month was seen in vegetables and processing with 9.24 percent, food increased 4.86 percent, foodstuffs increased 0.7 percent, services increased 0.62 percent, non-food and foodstuffs increased 0.5 percent.

The price of gold in November fell 0.73 percent in comparison with last month, while US dollar prices rose 0.64 percent.

According to experts, CPI in December will highly increase due to some factors such as high interest rates, a complex flooding and diseases situation, upcoming Lunar New Year.
