Propagate and release over 5,000 earwigs to control Brontispa longissima Gestro

Binh Dinh Plant Protection Department has recently propagated and released more than 5,000 earwigs (Dermaptera chelisochidae) to kill Brontispa longissima Gestro in districts of Phu Cat, Phu My, Hoai Nhon, etc. Moreover, the department also sets up a process of prevention and control of the Gestro insects; organizes training courses and instructs local farmers about effective measures of the Gestro prevention and control.
