Vinh Thanh district has total 348 biogas works at local resident households all over communes of Vinh Hiep, Vinh Quang, Vinh Hoa, Vinh Hao and Vinh Thinh, latest statistics of Vinh Thanh shows. In 2011, Vinh Thanh Agricultural Promotion Station supports the local people in building 20 biogas works. Each household who registers to the programme of biogas construction is subsidized 1.2 million VND. The household cover the rest cost (6-8 million VND) to build the biogas work. Each biogas work contains averagely 10cm3 – over 12cm3.
The biogas construction provides biological fuel and enables environmental pollution reduction as well.
