Export turnover hits over US$45.5 mln

The local businesses’ export turnover value reached more than US$45.5 million in Jan., a surge of 15.2 percent against the same period last year.

Minerals and wood shavings increased by 135 percent and 56.4 percent respectively while wooden products were up 18 percent and aquatic products saw a rise of 6 percent.

The export turnover in the private sector earned US$40.3 million, an increase of 20 percent over the same period last year.
